My name is Mike Pond and I am a junior who is interested in studying Communications. I am running for VP of Student Life. Now more than ever, we need good stewards in leadership positions who can protect the financial rights, programs and needs of our students. I believe having someone with the vision to guide our university in the direction of a more holistic educational experience will create a positive campus atmosphere. I have the abilities necessary to be this candidate. I understand the everyday issues students face in their lives here at Western and have extensive knowledge of this through working within University Residences.
