Casey D. Hall for VP for Diversity
I have four years leadership experience on campus and in the AS as the director of the ROP, LGBT Alliance program coordinator and the co-president of Queer People of Color as well as being involved with the Ally Building Network and attending national conferences.
I support:
- Attracting/retaining students of color and students from diverse socio-economic backgrounds despite the budget crisis
- Transgender inclusive bathrooms/housing
- Disability accessibility
- Representing diversity in curriculum
- Formal assessment and strategic planning
- A website for students and staff to anonymously report issues regarding diversity
- Holding the entire AS and campus responsible for representing marginalized groups
I believe everyone should feel safe and represented at Western. Everyone is a piece to the puzzle of diversity.
