Ben Wurtz for VP of Student Life
Hello, my name is Ben Wurtz and I’m running for Vice President for Student Life. I am a Finance major and have bled blue and white for the past three years. I’m involved in many AS groups such as Western Men Against Violence and Blue Crew.
To improve campus life, next year I plan to work with fellow students to reach various goals such as:
- Reducing our dependence on cars
- Look into the possibility of flex car and emergency taxi systems for students
- Review and improve the night shuttle
- Ensure permanent funding for CASAS and MVPP
- Continue to review new meal plans to ensure they are right for this campus
- Increase organic and local options for on-campus dining
