Annie Jansen for VP of Academics
My name is Annie Jansen and I am running for Vice President for Academic Affairs. I am a sophomore, majoring in political science and English. I have proudly served as a Student Senator for two years, which has helped me be receptive to student needs. I am in my second year as an employee of the Registrar's Office, where I have gained invaluable knowledge of Western's academic policies. I serve as the President of the Western Democrats, and regularly volunteer in the community. If elected, I will work tirelessly to promote student values such as sustainability, environmental consciousness and equality, maintain an open line of communication with administrators regarding academic matters, and be a responsive, respectful and dedicated Board member.
